Our client was just making ends meet and struggling to maintain a balance between sales, working, and managing contractors; we helped get him online and think like an owner rather than a worker.

The Situation

Our client being in construction was operating in a competitive environment and was not doing well with sales. He was not living comfortably and was always chasing for work. He also kept on experiencing problems with contractors he would hire which landed up eating into his profits for each job.

Our Process

Between the new branding and marketing methods implemented, the new business line, and the established employees brought in we helped take the business to a new level and resulted in close to 400% growth

The first focus was to get organized so that we had a clear place to start working together from: this included structuring better time management and sales organizational habits. We then worked directly with a few of his prior customer and potential customers to get some sense of what he is doing wrong and right. We were then able to help him with his sale pitch and pricing negotiations, resulting in a 3 times better close rate. We established his online presence between marketing platforms and developing his website. We also expanded his services by opening up a second business slightly adjacent to the construction industry. Once the business was well functioning we turned to his hiring practices and focused on finding (and rewarding) loyal employees.
